If you’re travelling along the M4 motorway this week you may notice that your e-tags will be beeping on the 4, although you won’t be paying to use the road just yet.
You soon could be paying to travel along the M4 Motorway after a toll testing trial that starts this week.
The testing starts on the widened motorway between Parramatta and Homebush on Tuesday morning and the state government has advised motorists to not pay attention to the beep.
The beep could be real by next year with motorists expected to pay u to $4.21 to use the 7.5km section of the road.
